Do you have to pay to see the Colosseum

However, this ticket does not include entry to the Arena, Underground, or III Level of the Colosseum nor does it grant access to the SUPER sites. Is Colosseum free on Sundays?

Although tickets are not available for pre-booking online, they are readily available for collection at the ticket office in front of the Colosseum upon arrival. All citizens under 18 years old, those with disabilities, EU tourist guides and interpreters, employees of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, members of ICOM and ICCROM, students of the schools of Central Institute of Restoration, Opificio delle Pietre Dure, School for Mosaic Restoration, journalists, and groups of public and private schools accompanied by teachers, as well as teachers and students of faculties of Architecture, Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Education Sciences, and Literary subjects with archaeological or historical-artistic address of universities and academies of all EU member countries. To obtain the free entry, individuals must show a suitable document proving their entitlement at the ticket office.
